Important Updated Information
Under 18 Kick Off Times.
The league has received representations from Clubs and League Officials regarding the fixed kick off time of 2pm for under 18 matches. Consultation with Leicestershire & Rutland County Football Association (CFA ) has shown that this time is a historical throw back to when it was difficult to get referees for morning kick offs. As this is no longer the case I have received CFA approval to a waiver of that part of rule 10 (B) in respect of 2pm kick offs at under 18 level. Under 18 matches may therefore kick off at any time set out in that rule.
Recent Withdrawal of Teams
The league has recently received notification of the withdrawal of the following teams:-
• Oadby Owls Girls Tawnys U12
• Enderby Foxes U13
• Westfield Wanderers U13
• Thurmaston Pink Panthers U14
• Bedworth United U14
• Loughborough Foxes U18
As the under 14 Division has been left with eleven teams there will now be one division rather than two.
Showing of Player Registration Cards
Due to problems of late entry of teams and the resultant late registration of players the League Management Committee has decided to waive the need to show player registration cards for two weeks. Cards will not now need to be shown until Sunday 19th September. Please note however that match cards will be checked against player registration records during this two week period and any team found to have played a player that is not then subsequently registered the Club will be considered to have played an ineligible player and will be dealt with according to League rules.
